CURATORIAL DIRETOR

Board members can be expected to spend time supporting our programming team with writing grants, sponsorship strategy and outreach, and developing corporate governance practices / processes

Applicants can expect to commit to 10-15 hours per quarter, support one event per year, and attend a quarterly 2 hour meeting.

Program Coordinators support with upcoming exhibitions and start building the community relationships that make future shows possible. That means venue logistics, install coordination, and event-day operations — art sales, corporate sponsorships, outreach, and partner relationships.

The Curatorial Director holds curatorial vision across The 525's full portfolio. They shape individual shows and the aesthetic identity of the organization as it grows. They also manage the per-show curatorial team structure — Lead Curator, Co-Curator, Curatorial Assistant — and you develop emerging curators at every level.
